Commissioning Opportunities in all Branches of the Armed Services
The ROTC Departments at ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ offer commissioning opportunities in all branches of the armed services. The branches of the armed services include the Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy. This ROTC program offers opportunities to obtain leadership positions in the armed forces upon graduation. While every cadet at ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ must successfully complete a course in one of four ROTC departments each semester, cadets are not required to work toward a ROTC commission, or to accept a ROTC commission should it be offered. Commissioning in all branches of the armed services is voluntary.
ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ Service to Country Scholarship and National Service Scholarship
ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ Service to Country Tuition Scholarship and National Service Room/Board Scholarship are awarded to three and four-year ROTC national scholarship high school student awardees chosen through the national review process managed by the Army, Navy, Marines, and AirForce/SpaceForce. The scholarships support students awarded a national ROTC scholarship through the national board processes described in the links below on each branch’s website. The award must be awarded prior to May 1, 2023.

If you are the recipient of a 3 or 4-year ROTC Scholarship, you are guaranteed admission into the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.
Please note that ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ ROTC department does not award ROTC Scholarships. ROTC Scholarships for the Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy are administered directly through the awarding military branch.
